Materials:
Worsted weight acrylic - 40 grams (1.5 ounces) white
Worsted weight acrylic - 20 gr (.75 ounces) rust
Worsted weight acrylic - 20 gr (.75 ounces) gold
Hook: 5.5 mm Conversion chart
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Size
7"x 7"

Abbreviations:
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
sl: slip
st: stitch
dc: double crochet
hdc: half double crochet
FLO: front loop only
BLO: back loop only

Instructions:
Rnd 1:With white ch 6; join with sl st to first st to form a ring;
ch 3 (counts as first dc);Work 23 MORE dc in ring Join with sl
st to top of first st; fasten off. (24 dc)

Rnd 2: Using FLO join gold with sl st in any st of last rnd. Ch 3
(counts as first dc); dc in same st as first st worked; dc in next st;
*work 2 dc in next st, dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join
with sl st to top of first st; fasten off. (36 dc)

Rnd 3: Turn piece over. Working in unworked loops of last rnd
join rust with sl st in same st as joining occurred in last rnd;
ch 3 (counts as first dc); dc in same st as first st worked; dc
in next st; *work 2 dc in next st, dc in next st; repeat from * around.
Join with sl st to top of first st; fasten off. (36 dc)

Rnd 4: Turn piece over so gold side is facing. Attach white with
sl st in any st of last rnd. Working in both loops ;ch 3 (counts
as first dc, work (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st as joining; work hdc
in next 8 sts; *work (2dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next st; hdc in next 8 sts;
repeat from * around; join with sl st to top of first st; fasten off.

Rnd 5: Turn piece so rust side is facing. Attach white with sl st in
same st as joining occurred in last rnd of other side; working in both
loops; ch 3 (counts as first dc, work (dc, ch 2, 2 dc ) in same st as
joining; work hdc in next 8 sts; *work (2dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next st;
hdc in next 8 sts; repeat from * around; join with sl st to top of first
st; fasten off.

Rnd 6: Turn piece so gold side is facing; working in both loops join
gold with sl st in any ch 2 space; *work 3 sc in ch-2 sp; sc in each
st across to next ch-2 sp; repeat from * around; join with sl st to
first st; fasten off.

Rnd 7: Turn piece so rust side is facing; Attach rust with sl st in
same st as joining occurred in last rnd of other side. Working in both
loops *work 3 sc in ch-2 sp; sc in each st across to next ch-2 sp;
repeat from * around; join with sl st to first st; fasten off.

Rnd 8: Turn piece so gold side is facing; join white with sl st in
center st of 3 sc corner; work 2 sc in same st as joiningl sc in each
st around making sure to work 2 sc in each center corner st; join
with sl sl to first st; DO NOT FASTEN OFF; Using FLO sl st in each
st around. Join with sl st to first st; fasten off.

Rnd 9: Turn piece so rust side is facing; join white in same st as
joining occurred in last rnd of other side; work 2 sc in same st as
joining; sc in each st around making sure to work 2 sc in each center
corner st; join with sl st to first st; DO NOT FASTEN OFF; Using FLO
sl st in each st around. Join with sl st to first st; fasten off

Make sure all ends are woven in to this point with tapestry needle.

Edging: Turn piece so gold side is facing; Attach white with sl st
in any st using the 2 inside unworked loops of last rnds; sc in each st
around; join with sl st to first st; fasten off.

Weave in remaining ends with tapestry needle.
