Instructions for Kerchief:
Materials:
SPORTWEIGHT cotton
Hook 2.75 mm conversion chart
Needle to weave in ends.

Gauge:
15 sts = 2"

Abbreviations:
ch: chain
sl: slip
st: stitch
dc: double crochet
sc: single crochet
RS: right side
WS: wrong side
sm: solid mesh
om: open mesh

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Row 1 indicated on graph.
2. Each shaded square = 1 sm (solid mesh or block) = 4 dc
3. Each white square = 1 om (open mesh or block) = dc, ch 2, dc
4. Make sure to work all right side rows from right to left
and all wrong side rows from left to right.
5. To decrease 1 block at start of row sl st to indicated st.
6. To decrease 1 block at end of row leave last 3 sts unworked.

Instructions:

Row 1: Ch 156; dc in 4th ch from hook and dc in each ch across. (mark as right side)
Row 2: decrease 1 block at start of row; follow graph across decreasing one block at
end of row.
Row 3-26: follow graph decreasing one block at beginning of each row and 1 block
at end of each row.
Ties:



First tie:
With RS facing attach sportweight with sl st at point A in fig 1
Ch 56; dc in 4th ch from hook and dc in each st across; join with
sl st to to top of next st in row 1.

Second tie:
With RS facing attach sportweight with sl st at point B in fig 1
Ch 56; dc in 4th ch from hook and dc in each st across; join with
sl st to to top of next st in row 1.
